2025 is a year of Jubilee, something that only happens every 25 years.  The theme is ‘Pilgrimage of Hope’ and so a parish pilgrimage to Lourdes is being organised as part of our Jubilee activities.

A reservation has been made at the 3* Hotel Astoria for 4 nights, with return flights from Stansted to Lourdes.  The package includes hotel, with full board, air fares and transfers to and from Lourdes airport and a 20kg bag per person.  A reduction of £20 for bags of 10kg and under is available, but bear in mind the cost is higher at the airport if the weight limit is exceeded.

The cost is £645 per person sharing a double room with £35 per night supplement for single rooms.  Transport will be arranged from Harpenden to Stansted at a cost dependent on the numbers.

Lourdes is busy in September so the hotel will only hold the reservation for a few weeks. To declare your interest and obtain a booking form please email lourdes2025@catholicchurchharpenden.org.uk.  A holding deposit of £275 person will then be due to be paid to the travel company.
