Our Lady of Lourdes

The NEXT Youth Friendly Mass will be next Saturday 21st June at 6pm. Young people from Year 7 to Year 13, and beyond, are all welcome to join and take on an active role in this Mass: Readers,Welcomers, Musicians, Altar Servers. Please join us to make it as Youth Friendly as possible!
Followed by OLOL YOUTH GROUP:
SATURDAY 21st JUNE
For those in Year 10 and beyond.
Once a month, we meet after the 6pm Youth Friendly Mass for some food, some fun and some faith sharing time together. We will engage in conversations about life and faith.

OLOL & Presbytery Garden

The very popular Summer Concert & Strawberry Social will be held on Sunday 22nd June at 3pm.
The concert starts in the Church and then part 2 continues in the Presbytery Garden with the Strawberry treats.
Tickets will be on sale after all Masses this weekend.

Lourdes
2025 is a year of Jubilee, something that only happens every 25 years. The theme is ‘Pilgrimage of Hope’ and so a parish pilgrimage to Lourdes is being organised as part of our Jubilee activities.
A reservation has been made at the 3* Hotel Astoria for 4 nights, with return flights from Stansted to Lourdes. The package includes hotel, with full board, air fares and transfers to and from Lourdes airport and a 20kg bag per person. A reduction of £20 for bags of 10kg and under is available, but bear in mind the cost is higher at the airport if the weight limit is exceeded.
The cost is £645 per person sharing a double room with £35 per night supplement for single rooms. Transport will be arranged from Harpenden to Stansted at a cost dependent on the numbers.
Lourdes is busy in September so the hotel will only hold the reservation for a few weeks. To declare your interest and obtain a booking form please email lourdes2025@catholicchurchharpenden.org.uk. A holding deposit of £275 person will then be due to be paid to the travel company.
